Role Summary

The Film Video Editor will be a full-time onsite professional in Kolkata working closely with directors, producers, and post-production teams. Daily tasks include compiling raw footage, editing scenes to enhance narrative flow and rhythm, syncing audio with video, and executing color correction and grading. The editor will incorporate feedback from creative leads, prepare multiple review cuts, ensure outputs adhere to technical and broadcasting standards, organize media assets, manage project files, and help meet production timelines.

Required Qualifications

• Proficient video editing and color grading skills to effectively shape story mood and visual style.
• Experience in video and film production, including familiarity with shooting formats, codecs, and post-production processes.
• Understanding of broadcasting standards and delivery requirements for TV, web, and social media.
• Skilled in industry editing and post-production software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro; After Effects knowledge is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail, visual storytelling capability, and ability to handle deadlines collaboratively.
• Formal education or training in film, media, or related fields preferred; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating prior work is mandatory.
