As a Filling Operative based in Stoke-On-Trent, you will be integral to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by safely preparing LPG cylinders and supporting delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate with safety as your top priority while filling LPG cylinders according to stringent operational procedures and compliance standards.
• Maintain accurate stock control of LPG cylinders to align with operational needs and demand forecasts.
• Load and unload LPG cylinders onto vehicles and trailers carefully, following proper stacking and handling methods.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols, complying with Flogas policies and HSE regulations.
• Report any near misses or safety hazards proactively to promote a culture of safety within the workplace.
• Use appropriate manual handling techniques and lifting equipment to manage heavy loads safely.

Candidate Profile

• Enthusiastic team player with a strong sense of initiative and the ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Physically capable of managing heavy cylinders safely and reliably.
• Committed to upholding health and safety standards to protect yourself and your colleagues.
• Flexible, dependable, and cooperative with effective communication skills for teamwork and customer interactions.
• Experience with the safe handling and storage of dangerous goods and a counterbalance forklift licence is advantageous but not mandatory, as training will be provided.
• Possession of a full driving licence is preferred but not essential.
