Job description
About the Role
1.2% Drinkable seeks a trustworthy Office & Field Supervisor to manage daily office functions and oversee on-ground activities such as dispatch and delivery operations, ensuring efficient team performance and smooth workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee office processes by maintaining detailed operational records and generating daily activity reports.
- Supervise field personnel including delivery teams and monitor loading and unloading operations.
- Monitor order processing, dispatch, and delivery schedules to guarantee timely completion.
- Maintain accurate accounts of jar inventory, manage empty bottle returns, and track stock movements.
- Keep track of staff attendance, delegate tasks effectively, and ensure completion of pending work.
- Conduct site visits to operational areas to assess service quality and promptly address any issues.
- Communicate and coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams regarding delivery demands.
- Report any delays, shortages, damages, or customer complaints to higher management for resolution.
Requirements
- Prior experience in supervision, logistics, or operations roles is preferred.
- Basic proficiency with MS Excel, maintaining records, and using WhatsApp for communication.
- Strong communication abilities, team leadership skills, and capability to solve problems effectively.
- Willingness to undertake local travel and balance responsibilities both in-office and in the field.
- Experience in packaged drinking water industry, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), or delivery logistics is a plus.
Compensation
Salary will be determined based on the candidate's experience and fit for the role, typically ranging from ₹17,000 to ₹21,000 per month.
