Role Summary
The Field Services Engineer position is a full-time, on-site job located in Singapore. The engineer will be accountable for the installation, commissioning, and upkeep of test, process, and laboratory equipment at various client sites. This role aims to guarantee equipment performs dependably and experiences minimal operational interruptions.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Carry out installation, commissioning, and maintenance tasks for industrial, test, and laboratory machinery at client locations.
- Utilize strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities to promptly and accurately identify and fix technical problems.
- Deliver professional customer service through effective communication, setting proper expectations, and fostering solid business relationships.
- Bring in experience from electronics manufacturing, test engineering, or related fields to enhance service quality.
Qualification Requirements
- Proven track record in field service roles involving industrial or laboratory equipment, particularly in executing on-site installation and repair duties.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose technical challenges swiftly.
- Effective interpersonal and customer engagement capabilities.
- Experience in electronics manufacturing or equivalent technical sectors is an advantage.
