Job description
Job Overview
We seek a knowledgeable Field Service & Installation Engineer to manage installation, commissioning, servicing, troubleshooting, and upkeep of AHU, Air Washer, and HVAC systems directly at client locations. This role involves travel and potential relocation to various project sites in line with business needs.
Core Duties
- Install and commission AHU, Air Washer, and HVAC equipment.
- Conduct equipment startups, perform testing, and carry out trial runs.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and HVAC system issues.
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Address and resolve customer complaints with prompt service support.
- Inspect HVAC components including motors, blowers, pumps, dampers, filters, and coils.
- Interpret HVAC schematics, equipment layouts, and installation guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with customers, contractors, and internal personnel during installations.
- Generate service, installation, and commissioning documentation and reports.
- Follow safety protocols and company standards in all work performed.
- Travel to project and customer sites as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- 1 to 5 years' experience in servicing and installation of AHU, Air Washer, and HVAC systems.
- Diploma, ITI, or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or related technical fields.
- Solid practical understanding of HVAC equipment and its components.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills coupled with customer service experience.
- Flexibility to relocate and travel according to project demands.
- Fresh graduates with robust technical knowledge and eagerness to learn will also be considered.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with direct hands-on engagement in AHU and Air Washer installation, HVAC commissioning, servicing, and maintenance are highly valued.
