- Collaborate closely with process engineers, equipment engineers, and production teams to enhance equipment performance and manufacturing yield.
- Maintain comprehensive service documentation, maintenance logs, and technical reports adhering to quality and regulatory standards.
- Strictly follow environmental health and safety, cleanroom, and contamination control procedures.
- Provide technical assistance and operational guidance to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Participate in on-call support and escalation duties to ensure critical manufacturing operations run smoothly.
- Coordinate with global engineering and technical teams to resolve intricate technical challenges.
- Manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability for maintenance activities.
- Identify and recommend improvements for equipment reliability and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, and semiconductor manufacturing protocols.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum Level 7 qualification in Electrical, Electronic, Automation, Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related engineering field; alternately, a Level 6 trade qualification with substantial relevant experience in semiconductor manufacturing or maintenance.
- Previous experience in semiconductor, electronics, automation, medical device, pharmaceutical, or advanced manufacturing settings is beneficial.
- Encouragement for recent engineering graduates who possess strong technical aptitude and enthusiasm for semiconductor technologies.
- Proven ability in troubleshooting and diagnosing faults across electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
- Experience with precision instrumentation, diagnostic equipment, test fixtures, and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with cleanroom procedures and high-volume manufacturing environments is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Capacity to function both independently and as part of a high-performance engineering team.
- Competence with Microsoft Office and Windows-based software platforms.
