Role Overview

We are seeking a Field Service Coordinator based in Singapore for a permanent position. The role is key in managing and executing service-related tasks for our clients, ensuring seamless logistics and compliance throughout service operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage logistics for tools, spare parts, and workshop services aligned with maintenance plans once customer approval is granted, ensuring quality, health, safety and environmental compliance.
  • Maintain continuous communication with stakeholders—including customers, contract managers, planners, and suppliers—providing regular progress updates and documenting lessons learned.
  • Coordinate orders for field service jobs, parts, and tools through internal and external suppliers, liaising closely with field service teams before, during, and after job completion to meet contractual obligations.
  • Respond promptly and accurately to customer contractual requests while proactively preparing and delivering necessary materials to support uninterrupted maintenance activities.
  • Update contract managers regarding issues and consolidate shipment and transportation arrangements for inbound and outbound logistics.
  • Act decisively to manage changes in project scope, timing, location, and quantities, while consolidating service work reports for stakeholder communication.
  • Seek assistance from operational support and technical services when needed, review and approve costs, input accurate data for billing, and manage any claims related to services or parts.
  • Serve as the direct contact for customers on logistics concerning tools, parts, cabin availability, and regulatory requirements like permits and visas.
  • Innovate solutions to ensure timely delivery through internal parts delivery networks, adhering to contract terms such as spare part discounts.
  • Participate actively as a member of the contract core team to drive successful contract execution.

Candidate Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in marine engineering or related discipline.
  • Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to work independently and engage effectively with customers and various stakeholders.
