Job description
Overview
Advance your career in retail merchandising by joining a leading consumer packaged goods (CPG) company as a full-time Retail Merchandiser. In this position, you will play a key role in in-store merchandising—carrying out diverse tasks like stocking shelves and assembling displays—to maintain product availability and ensure the store complies with planograms.
Key Duties
- Execute merchandising tasks according to planograms and schematic designs, including product resets.
- Organize your store visits by prioritizing call objectives, reviewing previous visit follow-ups, and preparing necessary tools to meet deadlines.
- Maintain promotional display compliance, identify and correct gaps like out-of-stock situations, merchandise shelves and displays, and strategically place point-of-sale materials.
- Check product freshness by monitoring expiration dates and performing stock rotation.
- Foster effective communication with store personnel about assigned tasks, sales promotions, client goals, and completed work.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and nurture productive working relationships with store staff to help achieve company and client targets.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in merchandising or sales roles is preferred.
- Must have dependable transportation with a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Comfortable using basic computer programs such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Physically able to lift 30 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
Working Hours and Benefits
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
