Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking a Field Executive to join Green Mineral Cleantech Private Limited based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The role involves actively identifying and securing new scrap vendors across South India, specifically focusing on lithium battery scrap procurement from various sources including EV service centres, battery dealers, e-waste aggregators, kabadiwalas, and refurbishers.
Core Duties
- Scout and enroll new scrap vendors throughout South India.
- Source lithium battery scrap materials from a diverse set of suppliers such as EV service centers and battery dealers.
- Maintain and nurture relationships with current vendor networks through consistent follow-ups.
- Lead negotiations on pricing and coordinate the collection and logistics for scrap materials.
- Establish long-term partnerships with suppliers and aim to meet or surpass monthly procurement goals.
- Monitor market price trends and seek out fresh procurement opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with prior experience in lithium battery scrap procurement or recycling will have a distinct advantage. Preference is given to individuals currently engaged with battery recycling companies within South India.
