Field Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for technicians to handle fiber broadband and AirFiber installation along with associated customer service and technical support tasks in Bhubaneswar, Orissa. The role involves on-field technical operations, including installation, troubleshooting, and servicing of broadband networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Jio Fiber and AirFiber equipment installation at customer locations.
• Conduct troubleshooting and provide service support in the field.
• Manage customer interactions during visits and ensure smooth service delivery.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum educational attainment is completion of 12th grade; technical education is preferred.
• Basic understanding of broadband/fiber optics setup, networking, wiring, and router configuration.
• Experience as a technician with companies like Jio or Airtel Fiber is advantageous.
• Must have personal transportation (bike) and a smartphone.
• Possession of a valid driving license is preferred.
• The designated area of work will be within Bhubaneswar.

Compensation Details

• Skilled technicians are offered ₹15,000 per month plus performance incentives.
• Unskilled helpers, who will work under skilled technicians and receive on-the-job training, earn between ₹8,000 and ₹10,000 monthly.

Additional Information

The preferred recruitment pool consists of current or former Jio and Airtel technicians familiar with fiber installation, customer handling, and executing field operations.
