Field Collection Executive

Job Overview

The Field Collection Executive is responsible for visiting customers with outstanding payments, communicating the details of dues, negotiating repayment schedules where suitable, collecting payments using approved methods, and maintaining accurate and updated records of collections. This role requires adherence to company policies and ethical collection practices, meeting collection targets, and effectively handling disputes.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to recover overdue payments.
• Clarify payment information and address any customer queries.
• Negotiate feasible repayment plans within company guidelines.
• Collect payments and issue official receipts.
• Maintain detailed records of all customer visits and payments collected.
• Use mobile applications or company software to update collection statuses.
• Follow legal requirements and ethical standards during collections.
• Achieve daily and monthly collection goals.
• Report complex or disputed cases to supervisors promptly.
• Establish and maintain professional rapport with customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong communication and negotiation capabilities.
• Basic familiarity with MS Office or mobile app usage.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Customer service mindset with problem-solving skills.
• Effective time management and organizational abilities.
• Fundamental math and record-keeping competencies.
• Minimum education: 10th grade, Higher Secondary (+2), Diploma, or any Degree.
• Possession of DRA and PVR certificates.
• Valid two-wheeler driving license; owning a two-wheeler preferred by some employers.
• Graduate candidates are favored by many organizations.
• Prior experience in collections, sales, or customer service is advantageous.

Working Conditions

• Significant local travel and customer visits are required.
• Flexible working hours aligned with collection schedules.
• Role is target-driven with regular reporting to team leaders or managers.
