Job Overview
We are seeking a proficient FICO Blaze Advisor Developer with over 8 years of IT experience, specializing in the FICO Blaze Advisor Business Rules Management System (BRMS), decision management, and rule engine development. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and supporting complex business rules, decision tables, scorecards, and rule flows specifically for enterprise banking and financial services.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain business rules leveraging FICO Blaze Advisor technology.
- Architect and implement decision-making components such as Decision Tables, Rule Sets, Rule Flows, Decision Trees, and Scorecards.
- Translate complex business requirements into efficient and scalable decisioning solutions.
- Integrate Blaze-based applications with Java/J2EE platforms, REST/SOA services, and other enterprise-level applications.
- Participate in System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production deployment processes, and resolve production issues promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, risk management, product, and development teams to deploy decision strategies.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 8 years practical experience working with FICO Blaze Advisor.
- In-depth familiarity with Decision Tables, Decision Trees, Rule Flows, Rule Sets, Scorecards, Rule Server, and repository management.
- Strong programming skills in Java/J2EE, REST API development, XML, and SQL.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum frameworks.
- Knowledge of application servers and platforms such as JBoss, WebLogic, Tomcat, and microservices architecture.
- Preferred background includes expertise in Banking, Lending, Credit Risk, Loan Origination, or Fraud Management domains.
