Female Support Worker

Role Overview

We are seeking a compassionate Female Support Worker to join our supported living homes located in Bicester, Oxfordshire. This opportunity involves providing empathetic, person-centred care to adults with diverse and complex needs, helping them to lead fuller, more independent lives.

Compensation and Hours

The role offers a salary of £13.69 per hour, equivalent to approximately £26,695 annually, with additional benefits. The working schedule is 37.5 hours weekly. A full manual UK driving licence is essential for this position. Please note, visa sponsorship is not provided; applicants must have existing authorization to work in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Support individuals through their daily routines from morning until bedtime.
• Plan and participate in individualized activities such as walks, shopping, and outings that enhance quality of life.
• Establish and nurture respectful, trustworthy relationships that bolster confidence and wellbeing.
• Maintain clear, accurate written records reflecting the support provided.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues and relevant professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

About the Supported Individuals

You will support six young adults living independently, with conditions such as autism, learning disabilities, mental health challenges, physical disabilities, and some behavioural complexities. The role involves enabling them to pursue activities they enjoy, which include arts, sports, cooking, and exploring nature, among others.
