Role Overview

This full-time, on-site position is located in Fremantle, Western Australia. The Female Support Worker will aid participants in daily tasks, personal care, and community participation while safeguarding their safety, dignity, and comfort. Responsibilities include offering emotional and social assistance, encouraging engagement in community activities, maintaining precise records, and supporting personalized care plans. Collaboration with colleagues, families, and external professionals is essential to promote independent living and inclusiveness. All activities must comply with safeguarding and quality standards.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Experience in direct care, community support, or disability support roles is important.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster trust and effective interactions with participants and team members.
• Awareness and application of safeguarding principles to ensure participant safety, confidentiality, and wellbeing.
• Basic technical proficiency, including digital tool usage and electronic documentation.
• Preferred qualifications in disability support, social care, community services, or related fields.
• Willingness to work shifts, maintain professional boundaries, and comply with organizational policies.
• Possession of current first aid/CPR certification, a valid Working With Children Check or National Police Check, and appropriate Australian work authorization is advantageous.
