Overview
The role of the Food & Beverage Support Expert at St. Regis Hotels & Resorts focuses on crafting not only delicious meals but a memorable dining experience. The position involves assisting food and beverage operations to ensure smooth service delivery, including tasks such as preparing tables, supporting kitchen staff, maintaining cleanliness, and restocking supplies. This role emphasizes creating an environment where guests' transactions are seamlessly integrated into their overall experience.
Key Duties
- Support daily food and beverage operations with a wide range of activities including table setup, kitchen assistance, cleaning, and supply replenishment.
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace following company policies and quality standards.
- Ensure professional personal appearance, uniform, and effective communication at all times.
- Be physically active, involving prolonged periods of standing, walking, or sitting in different work conditions including uneven or slippery surfaces.
- Handle physical tasks such as moving, lifting, pushing, and pulling objects up to 25 pounds independently, or up to 50 pounds with help, and perform various body movements like bending and stooping.
Qualifications
- Minimum education required is a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in the food and beverage sector is preferred but not mandatory.
- No prior supervisory experience or specific licenses/certifications are required.
