About the Role

We seek a talented and imaginative Fashion Designer specializing in Hard Goods to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess deep product expertise and a solid grasp of design progression within handicraft and lifestyle product sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Create innovative and market-oriented designs for hard goods that balance creativity with commercial viability.
• Produce and adjust designs using CAD and other design software applications.
• Develop professional presentations including PPTs, mood boards, concept sheets, and product showcase materials.
• Utilize Adobe Photoshop for product design tasks, including editing, artwork, and visual presentations.
• Innovate new product ideas inspired by market trends, client needs, and export market demands.
• Prepare product sketches, develop design ideas, coordinate color schemes, patterns, and surface embellishments.
• Collaborate with merchandising, sampling, and production departments for smooth product development.
• Revise designs in response to feedback from buyers or customers.
• Maintain detailed documentation of designs, artworks, product specs, and presentation files.
• Conduct research on the latest trends in fashion, home décor, handicrafts, and lifestyle products.
• Ensure all designs are practical for mass production and aligned with commercial and export standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of hard goods product categories.
• Proficient understanding of fashion and product design principles.
• Experience with CAD design software.
• Strong skills in Adobe Photoshop for design and artwork development.
• Competent in MS PowerPoint for creating impactful presentations.
• Good aesthetic sense regarding color, materials, textures, shape, and overall design harmony.
• Creativity in developing original, market-responsive designs.
• Effectiveness in sketching and conceptualizing new ideas.
• Familiarity with handicraft and home décor items is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to client requirements.
