Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fashion Designer to develop innovative fashion collections aligned with brand standards. This position involves researching current trends, creating mood boards, managing design documentation, and collaborating across various teams to deliver timely and commercially viable products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop fresh fashion designs and collections based on brand requirements.
• Conduct research on current trends including colors, fabrics, prints, and silhouettes.
• Create design concepts, mood boards, and comprehensive design sheets.
• Collaborate with sampling, production, merchandising, and sourcing teams to ensure design integrity and production feasibility.
• Choose suitable fabrics, trims, colors, and embellishments for designs.
• Prepare and maintain detailed tech packs and specification sheets as necessary.
• Monitor sample progress and recommend modifications or improvements.
• Keep meticulous records of styles, samples, measurements, fabrics, and design evolutions.
• Maintain and update Google Sheets tracking style status, sampling, costing, product details, and other design-related data.
• Ensure designs are practical, marketable, and consistent with the brand’s aesthetic.
• Work within deadlines and coordinate efficiently with multiple teams to complete collections on time.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a Fashion Designer role.
• Degree or Diploma in Fashion Designing or a closely related discipline is preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of garment construction, fabric types, trims, prints, and embellishments.
• Strong awareness of fashion trends and commercial design principles.
• Proficient in Google Sheets and Google Workspace for managing and organizing design/product data effectively.
• Experience with fashion design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or equivalent tools is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• High attention to detail with the aptitude for managing several styles and projects simultaneously.
• Creative approach combined with practical knowledge of production needs.

Compensation and Location

This full-time position based in Ludhiana, Punjab, India offers a monthly salary range from ₹20,000 to ₹30,000.
