About the Position

Working as a Fashion Associate with Walmart Canada provides an excellent opportunity to build retail industry expertise. The role centers around delivering outstanding customer service while handling fashion merchandise through stocking and processing. This position involves maintaining organized and visually appealing merchandise displays and ensuring the sales environment is safe, clean, and orderly. As part of a team, the associate will contribute to daily operational planning and participate in implementing seasonal merchandising arrangements.

Key Accountabilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with product promotions, locating items, purchase decisions, and addressing their concerns or escalating when necessary.
• Maintain a safe and hazard-free workspace by following company safety policies, completing safety checks, and ensuring fixtures and displays are secure.
• Process and stock fashion merchandise diligently, keeping the sales floor neat and organized.
• Merchandise non-modular fashion products accurately, ensuring correct signage and fixtures are applied and replenished as needed.
• Timely replenish and set up seasonal merchandise to reflect current promotions and inventory.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $16.15 CAD.

• Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.
