Overview
Join U-Haul as a Facility Housekeeper and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at our facility in St Peters, MO. This role demands attention to detail and proactive work ethics to uphold the high standards of U-Haul services. New hires can start immediately and are eligible for a hiring bonus.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning duties including sweeping, vacuuming, wiping, and mopping in storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and other areas.
- Responsible for proper disposal of trash.
- Monitor and manage cleaning supplies inventory and request resupplies when necessary.
- Carry out additional assigned tasks to support facility maintenance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong organizational abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
The position requires adherence to safety protocols when working near machinery, moving parts, or with chemicals that may involve the use of protective gear such as masks, gloves, goggles, or shields.
Physical tasks include extended periods of standing still, outdoor movement, reaching for objects at different heights, and handling equipment that may weigh up to 50 pounds, either alone or with assistance.
