Facility Engineer

Job Overview

Awtad is looking for a skilled Facility Engineer to manage the maintenance, operation, and enhancement of our facilities. The role involves regular facility inspections, troubleshooting, coordinating repairs and routine maintenance, and ensuring adherence to safety standards. You will also strategize improvements to boost operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform periodic inspections of facilities and equipment to detect maintenance and repair requirements
• Manage and supervise maintenance, repair, and upgrade work
• Design and execute preventive maintenance programs to maintain facility reliability and safety
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations and industry standards
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize facility operations
• Work closely with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers on facility-related projects
• Address facility emergencies promptly and provide efficient resolutions

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
• At least 4 years of experience in facility management or equivalent position
• Understanding of building systems along with maintenance best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Self-motivated with excellent task prioritization skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Fluency in Arabic and English languages
• Proficient in facility management computer applications
• Well-versed in safety regulations and compliance requirements
