Role Overview

The Facilities Maintenance Specialist will be based full-time on-site in Jeddah and will be responsible for conducting regular inspections, preventive upkeep, and repairs to guarantee the safety and reliability of building systems and facilities. Day-to-day duties include general building upkeep, addressing plumbing repairs, carpentry work, and working with external contractors or vendors when necessary. The role demands responding to maintenance requests, troubleshooting facility equipment issues, and keeping meticulous records of maintenance activities. Adherence to safety protocols, compliance with company policies, and collaboration with teams to enable smooth facility functions are key aspects of this position.

Required Qualifications

• Proficient in facility management, including scheduling and overseeing maintenance tasks and building systems.
• Experienced in preventive maintenance procedures and building equipment servicing.
• Skilled in plumbing tasks such as installing, repairing, and maintaining water supply and drainage systems.
• Competent with carpentry duties involving doors, windows, partitions, furniture fixes, and minor structural work.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, follow safety protocols, and understand basic building schematics.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude with meticulous attention to detail in diagnosing maintenance concerns.
• Capable of using tools and equipment safely while complying with health and safety standards.
• Previous experience in facilities or building maintenance preferred; vocational or technical training related to the field is advantageous.
