Facilities Maintenance Officer

Role Overview

The Facilities Maintenance Officer is responsible for assisting the Development and Asset Manager in overseeing the management of KFC's assets and organizing maintenance operations at various outlets.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections of buildings, equipment, and infrastructure to determine maintenance requirements.
• Oversee and coordinate both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Supervise contractors to ensure adherence to work specifications and safety protocols.
• Assess contractor performance and the quality of provided services.
• Obtain quotations and support the procurement process for maintenance services and necessary materials.
• Track utility usage and propose measures for energy efficiency improvements.
• Contribute to the preparation and monitoring of maintenance budgets.
• Coordinate with authorized pest control contractors to ensure scheduled treatments comply with regulations.
• Maintain comprehensive records of pest control inspections, treatments, and contractor reports.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience in the maintenance of facilities.
• Possession of a valid driving license.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with internal teams and external contractors.
• Capability to handle pressure and manage multiple simultaneous projects efficiently.
• Proficient analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD software.
• Experience with GMAO or other maintenance management systems.
