Facilities Engineer

Job Summary

The Facilities Engineer is tasked with overseeing and coordinating daily operations related to facility management, maintenance activities, contractor and service provider supervision to guarantee that all built environments remain secure, fully operational, and well-maintained. The role emphasizes upholding quality standards, enhancing end-user experience, and ensuring efficient facility services delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the daily operational and maintenance tasks of facilities.
• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance to confirm prompt and quality execution.
• Liaise with contractors, vendors, and service providers while monitoring their performance levels.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs, faults, and areas for enhancement.
• Ensure all facilities, systems, and equipment are properly maintained and functional.
• Manage maintenance schedules, process work orders, and handle service requests efficiently.
• Maintain adherence to facility quality, safety, and operational standards.
• Audit contractor deliverables to verify compliance with specifications and quality benchmarks.
• Assist in planning and implementing facility upgrades, renovations, and construction projects.
• Prepare and assess technical documentation, reports, and maintenance records.
• Utilize AutoCAD and engineering software to develop technical drawings and layouts as required.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve facility-related issues promptly.
• Seek and propose improvements to facility efficiency, quality of service, and user satisfaction.
• Monitor facility expenditure and contribute to optimizing maintenance resource usage.
• Ensure facility operations comply with organizational policies and relevant standards.
• Execute additional tasks related to facilities and engineering as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in Facilities Management, Operations, Maintenance, or Construction Project coordination.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and other essential engineering software tools.
• Strong foundational knowledge of facility operations and maintenance management.
• Experience coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
• Thorough awareness of quality and operational standards for facilities.
• Excellent communication, coordination, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• High level of attention to detail and dedication to maintaining excellent facility conditions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal departments and external service providers.
