Job description
Position Overview
We have an engaging opportunity for a Facilities Coordinator based in Papakura, Auckland, to support the daily operations of site facilities and services, ensuring a safe, secure, and efficient workplace environment. Collaborating closely with the Site Services Manager, you will manage various functions including contractor oversight, site inductions, permit-to-work systems, security administration, and environmental health and safety (EHS) support. This role offers a broad operational exposure across multiple site services.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize daily site services such as cleaning, waste disposal, landscaping, and catering.
- Assist with reception duties and handle inductions for visitors, contractors, and employees.
- Manage permit-to-work procedures and maintain contractor-related documentation.
- Support site security protocols, access control, and contractor compliance requirements.
- Contribute to EHS projects, including PPE logistics, safety audits, and documentation management.
- Keep accurate site records, reports, and monitor service performance.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain service quality.
- Provide backup support for site services during Site Services Manager’s absence or leave.
Candidate Profile
- Background in administration, facilities management, site coordination, or similar operational support roles.
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to juggle several priorities simultaneously.
- Effective communication abilities and proficiency in stakeholder engagement.
- A proactive mindset focused on problem resolution and ongoing improvement.
- Detail-oriented with strong competencies in record maintenance.
- Confident in collaborating with contractors, service vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Competency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with business systems.
- Interest in facilities management, EHS, contractor oversight, or site service coordination.
