About the Role
Join our dynamic Workspace team at Hall & Wilcox's Sydney office as a Facilities Clerk. This full-time, permanent onsite position focuses on delivering dependable and efficient facilities support within a reputable, independently run Australian law firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up workstations, meeting, event, and seminar rooms including IT equipment.
- Maintain internal meeting rooms, ensuring AV equipment, stationery, and room presentation are well managed.
- Oversee inventory management for AV devices and work-from-home equipment such as monitors, keyboards, and headsets.
- Conduct morning and afternoon floor inspections to ensure office operational standards.
- Provide office tours to new employees.
- Manage distribution and tracking of security access cards.
- Monitor and complete service requests via Jira platform.
- Log and follow up jobs with building management.
- Coordinate secure waste bin pickups and routine office maintenance.
- Perform other ad-hoc facilities-related duties as needed.
Candidate Profile
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Reliable and flexible with a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Highly organized, capable of prioritizing multiple deadlines effectively.
- Able to work independently while also following instructions.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to perform effectively under pressure with professionalism.
