Facilities Cleaner

About the Role and Company

Green by Nature partners closely with the Rodney Council in Auckland to upkeep parks, playgrounds, and communal outdoor areas, reflecting the region's stunning environment and proactive municipal vision. The position operates mainly from the Wellsford depot to support peak summer months, running from November to February.

Work Schedule

• Shifts vary depending on assignment location.
• Typical shifts include Mon-Sat either early morning before 7am or late evening after 5pm for 4-hour blocks.
• Additional coverage needed Sunday to Wednesday.
• Evening shifts from 6pm to midnight, Monday through Saturday.

Primary Responsibilities

You will report directly to the Team Manager, with tasks including emptying rubbish bins, operating a compactor vehicle, and cleaning public facilities in areas such as Wellsford and Warkworth within the Rodney district.

Candidate Profile

• Possession of a full, clean driver’s license with capability to drive manual transmission vehicles (mandatory).
• Enjoy working outdoors in physically intense settings with good fitness levels.
• Strong dedication to health and safety protocols aligned with company policies.
• Basic competence with computers and smartphones advantageous.
• Self-driven with the ability to operate independently without direct supervision.
