Job Overview
The Fabric Salesperson is tasked with retailing various types of textiles, advising customers on fabric selections, managing inventory, processing orders, negotiating prices, and creating a positive shopping experience to meet sales targets and foster customer loyalty.
Primary Responsibilities
- Welcoming and assisting customers in choosing textiles that suit their needs.
- Providing detailed information regarding product features and benefits.
- Handling customer inquiries and professionally resolving issues or complaints.
- Accurately and efficiently processing transactions using the point-of-sale system.
- Understanding characteristics, uses, and care instructions for diverse fabric types.
- Ensuring store cleanliness, organization, and adequate stock levels.
- Arranging and displaying products to highlight their qualities and attract buyers.
- Collaborating closely with team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Educational Qualifications
Minimum requirement: High school diploma.
Experience Requirements
Preference for candidates with at least six months of fabric industry experience.
Minimum education
Higher Secondary (Class 12)
