External Audit Manager, Core Audit

The External Audit Manager in Core Audit will be instrumental in expanding client relationships, leading skilled project teams, and delivering exceptional customer service in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee assurance engagements by shaping audit strategies in tandem with senior management, ensuring adherence to EY's standards and protocols.
• Execute complex audit tasks personally when necessary, leading teams varying in size based on engagement scope.
• Lead teams to efficiently manage projects and engagements, ensuring profitability.
• Continuously monitor team's progress against the audit plan and adjust strategies as required.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities by leveraging EY's service offerings and industry knowledge.
• Mentor and develop team members by sharing expertise and facilitating skill enhancement through hands-on experience.
• Encourage autonomy and accountability among team members for their contributions to the assurance team.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and deliver constructive feedback and on-the-job training.
• Foster collaborative relationships within and across assurance teams.
• Maintain and grow long-term, productive relationships and networks with clients.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification in Singapore.
• Minimum of six years of relevant work experience in audit or assurance.
