Your Role and Mission

As an Expert Watches Specialist, you will leverage your deep expertise and broad network to screen lot submissions and create compelling watch listings weekly. Your expert knowledge ensures transactions remain transparent and fair, reflecting what appeals to the platform's user base. Responsibilities include analyzing lot titles, descriptions, images, and providing estimated valuations. You will professionally reject unsuitable submissions when necessary. Your background should include clear domain expertise in watches, particularly professional trading experience in the vintage segment.

Key Responsibilities

• Leverage expert knowledge to curate and screen modern and/or vintage exclusive watches.
• Apply professional business or trading background on leading platforms (e.g., Catawiki, Chrono24, 1stDibs, Ebay, Watchfinder, Watchbox, Chronext) and B2B groups/fairs.
• Understand and optimize auction strategies such as reserve pricing, sale rates, cash flow, stock and shelf space management.
• Analyze auction performances and provide sellers guidance based on market trends.
• Maintain documented commercial experience and excellent communication skills.
• Use strong computer proficiency and maintain a network of sellers and expert contacts.
• Act diplomatically as a mediator in any disputes among users.
• Demonstrate very good English language skills.

Location and Work Conditions

This position is fully remote, open to candidates based in the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Italy, UK, Portugal, or Poland, with occasional business travel required.
