Role Overview

This position offers a fantastic chance to join our culinary team as a Pastry Chef. You will be responsible for crafting exquisite pastries and desserts while playing a key role in maintaining our culinary standards and innovative offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and prepare exquisite bakery and dessert items maintaining high-quality presentation.
• Manage the pastry section ensuring the use of fresh, premium ingredients.
• Develop and innovate pastry menus aligned with current trends and guest preferences.
• Apply knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards to ensure a safe kitchen environment.
• Engage with guests thoughtfully; respond to their feedback to enhance their experience.
• Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure complete team compliance and training.
• Deliver training to kitchen staff on corporate standards and customer service expectations.
• Collaborate closely with the Executive Head Chef to support kitchen operations.
• Foster a motivating and positive workplace culture within the pastry department.
• Exhibit thorough product expertise and enthusiasm for sharing knowledge with others.

Candidate Profile

• At least 2 years of experience as a Pastry Chef, with a minimum of 3 years specifically in a fast-paced, large hotel environment.
• Genuine passion for culinary arts and creativity in pastry craftsmanship.
• Strong communication capabilities and fluent command of spoken and written English.
• Self-driven with a positive and constructive attitude.
• Authorized to work full-time in Ireland; no sponsorship available.

• Annual gross salary of 35300 EUR, paid monthly.
