About the Role
Therapy Collab is inviting applications for an Experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to become part of our expanding, value-oriented team. This position suits professionals dedicated to delivering trauma-informed, evidence-based behaviour support with a manageable caseload that permits thorough and paced clinical practice. The successful candidate will engage extensively with families, Supported Independent Living (SIL) providers, support coordinators, and multidisciplinary team members, supporting a service environment that upholds ethical standards, cultural sensitivity, and prioritizes practitioner wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based and trauma-informed behaviour support interventions
- Handle a defined, manageable caseload allowing focused quality documentation
- Conduct functional behaviour assessments, develop behaviour support plans, and ensure ongoing monitoring
- Work collaboratively with families, service providers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in reflective practice and contribute to service development and continual improvement
- Ensure compliance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards standards
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with advanced clinical decision-making skills
- Proficiency in functional behaviour assessment, risk management, and strategies to minimize restrictive practices
- Ability to work confidently with complex client presentations and diverse support settings
- Strong collaboration skills, reflective mindset, and commitment to producing thorough documentation
- Appreciation for autonomy, transparency, and trauma-informed care principles
- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
