Role Summary

The Experience & Interface Designer will be responsible for leading the comprehensive design process for mobile and web products. This involves conducting user research, creating prototypes, and working closely with product and engineering teams to craft user experiences that are intuitive, accessible, and scalable.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of design activities, from identifying user challenges and mapping user journeys to delivering finalized, production-ready designs for mobile and web platforms.
• Convert product strategies, business needs, and user insights into user-friendly experiences that carefully balance usability and technical constraints.
• Lead user research sessions, usability testing, and design validation processes to ensure solutions genuinely satisfy user requirements and offer opportunities for product enhancement.
• Create user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-resolution interfaces aimed at improving user satisfaction and ensuring design consistency.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers to define issues, brainstorm solutions, and influence the overall direction of the product using design thinking methodologies.
• Work alongside engineers during the development phase to guarantee design intentions are accurately executed and make refinements as necessary.
• Develop and maintain reusable design systems and comprehensive component libraries that support consistency and scalability across various products.
• Utilize both qualitative and quantitative data—including analytics and user feedback—to continuously assess and elevate the quality of user experiences.
• Clearly present design ideas, reasoning, and compromises to stakeholders, incorporating their feedback effectively into the process.
• Advocate for user-centered design philosophies and drive ongoing improvements in design practices within the product team.
• Effectively juggle multiple design projects independently while maintaining strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Demonstrable portfolio showcasing comprehensive ownership of the end-to-end design process for mobile and web applications.
• Expertise in current design and prototyping software, especially Figma.
• Robust understanding of accessibility standards, inclusive design, and responsive design principles.
• Experience in creating and managing reusable design systems and component libraries.
• Excellent communication and facilitation capabilities to articulate design decisions and persuade various stakeholders.
