Position Overview
Based in Singapore, this full-time role involves executing procurement and sourcing activities crucial for project delivery within EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) environments. The primary goal is to ensure the acquisition of goods and services that are timely, cost-efficient, and compliant with project requirements and corporate policies.
The expeditor will manage supplier selection, request for quotation (RFQ) processes, bid evaluations, contract finalization, and continuous monitoring of supplier performance. Collaboration with various departments like engineering, quality, construction, finance, and project controls is essential to synchronize supply chain operations with project timelines and technical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and follow up with vendors regarding documentation and manufacturing schedules.
- Maintain and update expediting status reports along with action logs.
- Identify delays promptly and escalate critical issues to ensure resolution.
- Liaise and coordinate with buyers, inspectors, and logistics teams effectively.
- Support expediting visits and keep detailed records of vendor communications.
- Deliver precise and punctual reports on assigned purchase orders.
Qualifications & Skills
- Possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in procurement, expediting, or supplier management within EPC or industrial project contexts.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing progress tracking, document control processes, and logistics coordination.
- Excellent capabilities in issue resolution, prioritization, and stakeholder communication.
- Proficient in English for effective verbal and written communication.
