Job Overview
This role involves providing comprehensive secretarial support to the Country Head to help achieve departmental goals efficiently.
Core Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage the Country Head's complex schedule, ensuring prioritization aligns with business objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the Country Head and various stakeholders including clients, board members, and regulators.
- Prepare high-quality briefing documents, executive presentations, and board meeting packs.
- Draft, edit, and review professional communications on behalf of the CEO.
- Organize senior leadership meetings, set agendas, track follow-ups, and handle governance forums and external engagements.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, event logistics, and create contingency plans to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain confidential records and document flows with high accuracy and discretion.
- Assist in executing strategic projects by tracking milestones, ensuring timely completion, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration.
- Conduct research and deliver concise analysis and insights to support decision-making processes.
- Act as a liaison across business, risk, operations, and support functions to promote coordination.
- Interface professionally with C-suite executives, regulators, and key clients to maintain effective communication.
- Support board and governance activities through documentation management, action follow-up, and progress monitoring.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Graduate degree from a recognized and reputable university.
- Between five and eight years of experience in a banking environment as an Executive Secretary.
- Exceptional proficiency in both written and spoken English.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Proficient with Microsoft Copilot and other AI-driven productivity tools to enhance communication, summarize information, manage workflows, and support data analysis and presentations.
