About Social Discovery Group

Social Discovery Group (SDG) consists of companies dedicated to addressing loneliness, isolation, and disconnection by revolutionizing virtual personal connections. Their products transform how individuals engage socially across different cultures worldwide through social entertainment platforms.

SDG unites IT professionals and like-minded individuals working remotely globally. Recognized as a two-time "Great Place to Work" winner (USA & Japan, 2024–2025) and among the top five companies for Work-From-Anywhere roles (FlexJobs, 2025), they foster a dynamic remote work culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead comprehensive executive search assignments from initial briefing to search strategy, shortlisting, offer negotiation, and closure for senior and executive positions.
  • Develop and sustain talent pools and market mapping for core functional areas and products, managing sourcing, outreach, interview scheduling, and communication with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Identify passive candidates using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, and events while managing outreach cadence and enhancing employer branding.
  • Conduct structured interviews with scorecards, advising hiring managers on candidate evaluation and calibration processes.
  • Handle offer negotiations, compensation benchmarking, reference checks, and manage the final closing procedure.
  • Monitor recruitment KPIs and candidate experience metrics, collaborating with People Analytics to assess quality of hire and time-to-productivity.
  • Guide hiring managers on optimal hiring practices and strategies for diversity-conscious sourcing.
  • Maintain candidate data integrity within ATS and ensure compliance with GDPR and other relevant local regulations.

Candidate Requirements

  • Between 5 to 7 years of progressive executive search experience, either in-house or at retained search firms.
  • Demonstrable success in filling mid-senior to executive roles such as Director, VP, C-suite, or equivalents.
  • Preferably experienced in recruiting for technology sectors such as SaaS, platforms, fintech, consumer technology/marketplaces, or industries considered high-risk such as gambling, dating, or gaming.
  • Experience recruiting within EMEA regions and familiarity with the CIS technology market.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Fully remote employment opportunity with full-time status.
  • Salary details or pay ranges disclosed during recruitment prior to onboarding.
  • Annual leave entitlement of 28 calendar days.
  • 7 wellness days annually which can be used flexibly for personal needs without sick leave implications.
  • Referral bonuses up to $5,000 for successful candidate recommendations.
  • Half of the costs for professional training, including international conferences and meetings, covered by the company.
  • Corporate discount for English language courses.
  • Health benefits including either corporate medical insurance eligibility or annual compensation up to $1,000 gross for healthcare expenses for employees and close relatives.
  • Workplace setup support, including provision of office equipment or up to $1,000 gross reimbursement every 3 years for home or coworking space expenses.
  • An internal gamified recognition system offering bonuses redeemable for merchandise, team activities, massages, and other perks.
