Executive Researcher

About the Role

We are looking for an Executive Recruiting Researcher to join our Executive Search division. In this position, you will take full responsibility for identifying and prioritizing candidates for crucial leadership appointments throughout the company. Your focus will be transforming market intelligence into actionable insights, qualified candidate leads, and strategic support for recruiters and hiring managers. Additionally, you will assist with ongoing talent mapping and networking efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide search strategies and lead research execution by collaborating with Talent Partners and Hiring Managers to refine candidate search objectives and manage identification and prioritization processes.
• Maintain and update a continuous market map by researching target companies, relevant products, functions, organizational structures, and reporting lines to sustain executive talent pipelines and facilitate high-confidence hiring decisions.
• Act as a trusted strategic partner throughout hiring cycles by converting information from market signals such as press releases, organizational changes, job postings, funding rounds, and product launches into valuable leads and insights.
• Contribute proactively to team excellence by sharing expertise, collaborating effectively, and pursuing innovative solutions ensuring optimal search outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Five to seven years of experience conducting research for executive recruiting, preferably in a fast-paced technology company or search firm environment.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with senior executives, providing sound judgment, responsiveness, and when necessary, constructive challenge to ensure superior outcomes.
• Strong investigative skills with the ability to think critically and systematically, convert ambiguous data into clear research goals, and produce concise, well-structured written communications.
• High level of discretion capable of handling confidential searches and sensitive organizational information responsibly.
• Proactive ownership of outcomes characterized by persistence, follow-through, and creative problem-solving to overcome recruiting obstacles.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this role within the United States is between $112,200 and $201,350, varying by location and candidate qualifications. Specific state ranges include $139,100 to $201,350 in California and New York, and $129,300 to $187,200 in Washington. Total compensation packages may include base salary, short-term incentives, and eligibility for long-term equity awards.
