Position Overview
The Executive Recruiter role focuses on Canada's rapidly growing construction sector. You will take full ownership of the end-to-end recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and guiding candidates through to accepting offers. The role demands strong communication skills and relationship-building abilities, as it involves continual interaction with candidates and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and attract skilled construction professionals using platforms such as LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and innovative outbound tactics.
- Handle full-cycle recruitment for multiple open positions across various construction disciplines.
- Develop and nurture strong client relationships through ongoing communication and timely candidate updates.
- Conduct in-depth intake discussions with hiring managers to accurately capture job requirements.
- Monitor and report recruitment metrics including submissions, interviews, and successful placements.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records within applicant tracking and customer relationship management systems.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and changes in the construction talent market.
Candidate Profile
- Possess 1 to 2 years of experience in a fast-paced recruitment, sales, or agency setting focused on achieving measurable results.
- Exhibit outstanding verbal and interpersonal communication skills with a natural ability to build rapport.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational acumen.
- Proven success in working with key performance indicators and meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with recruitment tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and ATS/CRM technologies.
- Experience recruiting or working within the construction industry is highly advantageous.
