Executive Engineer - Geotechnical

Role Overview

The execution of infrastructure and building projects often presents complex subsurface challenges, such as those encountered in underground stations, tunnel works, basement constructions, and slope stabilization efforts. We are seeking experienced geotechnical engineers at various levels, including executive and senior roles, to contribute predominantly to the design and technical aspects of these projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead planning and conduct of subsurface investigations, along with subsequent ground characterization activities.
• Develop design concepts tailored for geotechnical engineering applications.
• Perform detailed analyses and produce design solutions for geotechnical structures.
• Undertake structural design work where required to complement geotechnical projects.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders including developers, contractors, regulatory authorities, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Provide technical supervision and manage geotechnical design processes to ensure quality and compliance.

Support and guidance, as well as knowledge exchange opportunities, will be made available to all engineers to enhance their professional growth.

Professional Requirements

• Must hold a degree in Civil and Structural Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board Singapore.
• Previous practical experience in geotechnical engineering projects is advantageous.
• Proficiency in geotechnical design software such as Plaxis is desirable.
• Well-versed in local civil/geotechnical engineering codes, regulations, Eurocodes, and authority submission protocols.
• Familiarity with statutory codes related to site supervision, quality control, and construction management is preferred.
• Capability to independently oversee projects and perform under stringent deadlines.
