Role Overview
This position is for an Executive Assistant working directly with the Director of Projects & Operations in a steel structural fabrication company. Unlike a typical personal assistant, this role requires a highly skilled management professional to independently manage projects, operational activities, cross-departmental coordination, and executive follow-ups, acting as a crucial partner to the Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate directly with the Director on strategic, operational, and project-based priorities.
- Take full control of assigned projects, managing their lifecycle from planning to completion.
- Coordinate with manufacturing units, project locations, and corporate teams to ensure on-time execution.
- Oversee project timelines, milestones, deliverables, manpower allocation, resource management, and critical interdependencies.
- Independently resolve operational challenges by identifying root causes and escalating issues with evidence-based, practical recommendations.
- Liaise with senior management, clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to maintain smooth processes.
- Generate MIS reports, presentations, dashboards, and regular progress updates for projects and operations.
- Monitor management decisions, action items, deadlines, and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Support business analysis, performance evaluations, and help inform management decisions with data insights.
- Conduct diligent follow-ups with relevant departments and stakeholders, ensuring accountability on assigned tasks.
- Travel frequently to manufacturing plants and project sites as necessary.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- 7 to 13 years of professional experience, preferably 5-10 years in project management, operations, or industrial project execution.
- Proven ability to independently manage projects or operational functions with strong ownership and accountability.
- Experience in steel manufacturing, MS pipe production, structural steel fabrication, erection, or similar industrial projects is preferred.
- Excellent leadership, coordination, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Adept at managing pressure, multitasking, and meeting deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interaction with executive-level management and external stakeholders.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively to various company manufacturing plants and sites.

Educational Qualifications
- B.Tech or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline is required.
- Having an MBA with specialization in Operations or Project Management is advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range offered is between 60,000 to 180,000 INR per month (CTC), adjustable based on the candidate's experience, abilities, and relevant sector exposure. This role provides significant responsibility, visibility, and ownership of key projects and operations alongside the Director.
