Event Manager

Role Overview

The Event Manager position is a full-time, on-site job located in Dubai, responsible for overseeing all stages of event planning and execution that promote the Roasters Specialty Coffee House brand and its specialty coffee offerings. This role encompasses conceptualizing events, coordinating with vendors and partners, managing budgets, scheduling, and handling logistics on-site.

Main Duties

• Coordinate event calendars and plan event sequences to maximize brand exposure.
• Negotiate terms and arrangements with suppliers and external partners.
• Manage setup and teardown activities for events, ensuring smooth operations.
• Supervise on-site event teams and schedule staff effectively.
• Assess event outcomes and implement improvements based on gathered feedback.
• Support initiatives for community involvement and develop marketing promotions related to events.
• Ensure all events comply with local laws and health and safety regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Prior experience in managing and planning events.
• Strong organizational capabilities and adeptness at managing multiple concurrent deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Leadership skills for directing event staff and maintaining service quality standards.
• Customer-centric approach dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences and resolving any issues.
• Background or interest in hospitality, food and beverage sectors, with a preference for knowledge of specialty coffee.
• Basic proficiency with office software and event management tools; familiarity with social media event promotion is advantageous.
• Educational background preferably in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or similar fields.
• Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed according to event schedules.
