Role Overview

We are recruiting Estimators and Senior Estimators with demonstrated expertise in the Infrastructure sector, including Rail, Airports, Highways, Power, Water, or Utilities. Positions are open in our London, Birmingham, Bristol, and Manchester branches. Our estimators support clients either embedded within their organizations or through ad-hoc work within the Turner & Townsend Estimating Hub.

While focused mainly on UK clients, the role offers the flexibility to perform estimating duties remotely for global clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver precise and thorough cost estimates and plans for infrastructure projects promptly.
• Manage and oversee the estimating procedures at the project level independently.
• Produce estimates autonomously without supervision.
• Contribute to the advancement and standardization of estimating best practices within Turner & Townsend.
• Assist in meeting departmental goals and objectives.
• Maintain awareness of technological and sector advancements to provide informed, best-practice guidance aligning with business aims.

Qualifications & Experience

• Hold strong qualifications in Estimating or Quantity Surveying with proven relevant work history.
• Substantial experience delivering estimating and/or quantity surveying services within large-scale projects.
• Familiarity with using estimating software tools.
• Membership in a relevant professional organization, preferably chartered or working towards chartered status.
• Desirable memberships include RICS, CIOB, or Association of Cost Engineers.
