Role Summary

Kaprel Partitions LLC, based in Dubai, UAE, is looking for an experienced Estimator to join their team on a full-time basis. The Estimator will specialize in preparing cost evaluations, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and quotations for architectural projects focusing primarily on glass partitions and doors.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project drawings, technical specifications, and site conditions to develop accurate cost estimates covering glass, glazing, aluminium, and acoustic system works.
• Collaborate closely with design, sales, and project teams to ensure cost projections are technically accurate and feasible.
• Prepare and manage BOQs and quotations for various projects.
• Estimate costs including materials, labor, fabrication, installation, and subcontractor services.
• Support client negotiations by offering detailed cost breakdowns and clarifications.
• Monitor project variations and update cost estimates accordingly.

Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience estimating costs for glass, glazing, aluminium, or acoustic system projects is advantageous.
• Comprehensive understanding of architectural glass products and acoustic materials such as panels, partitions, and insulation.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office applications.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings and technical documents thoroughly.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple tenders and meet deadlines efficiently.

Additional Information

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in estimation within the interior design or construction industry is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and detail orientation are essential.
• Based in Dubai, UAE; onsite attendance required.
