Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled ERPNext developer to manage and improve our current ERPNext systems and develop new solutions as the business evolves. The role involves collaboration with the internal IT team and business stakeholders to convert operational requirements into effective ERPNext implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and upgrade existing ERPNext applications, including those used by field sales and operations teams.
• Create new DocTypes, workflows, reports, and custom applications utilizing the Frappe/ERPNext framework.
• Manage Frappe Cloud hosting environments, including scripting, API development, and system integrations.
• Integrate ERPNext with other platforms such as Supabase and SAP Business One.
• Engage with business departments to thoroughly understand processes prior to implementing technical solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues within ERPNext deployments.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years professional software development experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in ERPNext and Frappe Framework development, including Python, DocTypes, server-side scripting, and REST APIs.
• Comprehensive understanding of ERP principles and business operations, enabling effective contextual solution development.
• Capability to develop connected applications around ERPNext incorporating AI-assisted coding tools like Claude.
• Experience working with both Frappe Cloud and self-managed ERPNext installations.
• Proficiency in REST API usage and third-party software integrations.
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written, facilitating direct interaction with non-technical personnel.
• Must be willing and able to commute to company sites in Kochi.
• Preferred qualifications: hands-on experience integrating ERPNext with SAP Business One or similar ERP software, and familiarity with Supabase, PostgreSQL, or Flutter.
