About the Role
We seek an ERP Coordinator with 3 to 5 years of experience in ERP implementation and support, ideally within the construction or infrastructure industry. The role involves overseeing ERP deployment and ongoing assistance at both the Head Office and various project locations.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the rollout of ERP systems across headquarters and construction sites.
- Develop a thorough understanding of construction-related operations including Project Management, Purchasing, Stores, Plant & Machinery, Inventory, Subcontractor management, Accounting, and Human Resources.
- Provide ERP assistance at the site level by resolving user issues and guiding process adherence.
- Facilitate ERP support at the Head Office by liaising with different departments to capture system requirements.
- Work closely with ERP developers or implementation partners regarding feature additions, modifications, bug fixes, and enhancements.
- Gather user requirements and translate them into functional specifications and process workflows for development teams.
- Supervise implementation progress ensuring milestones are met within agreed timelines.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and handle user feedback to refine deployments.
- Create and update standard operating procedures, user manuals, and training documentation.
- Deliver ERP training sessions and assist with user onboarding at sites and offices.
- Track ERP-related issues through ticketing systems and ensure they are resolved promptly.
- Identify discrepancies between current business practices and ERP functionalities, recommending system or process improvements.
- Coordinate master data setup and validation including materials, vendors, employees, projects, and cost centers.
- Ensure data accuracy and enforce correct transactional discipline at project sites.
- Support ERP integration efforts with management information systems, dashboards, reporting tools, and automation solutions.
- Compile regular reports on system implementation status, outstanding issues, user adoption, and performance metrics.
- Travel to project locations as necessary to provide implementation, training, and support.
Required Experience and Skills
- Between 3 to 6 years of hands-on ERP coordination, implementation, or functional support experience.
- Background in construction, infrastructure, EPC, or plant and machinery sectors is advantageous.
- Practical knowledge of operations at both project sites and head offices.
- Experience working as an intermediary between business users and developers.
- Strong grasp of ERP implementation lifecycle phases: requirements gathering, configuration, development, UAT, training, go-live, and post-launch support.
- Familiarity with Purchase, Stores, Inventory, P&M, Projects, and Finance processes is a plus.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Comfortable engaging with stakeholders such as Project Managers, Site Engineers, Store and Purchase teams, Accounts, HR, and software developers.
- Willingness to undertake site visits as required for project support.
- Preference given to candidates residing in Tamil Nadu.
