ERP Business Analyst

Job Overview

The ERP Business Analyst is responsible for managing the coordination of ERPNext implementation and support across all stakeholders and vendors. This position emphasizes business analysis, project coordination, functional documentation, governance of implementation, and vendor management. It is important to note this role does not include software development activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead coordination of ERPNext implementation and deployment activities.
• Collect business requirements and develop documents such as Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user stories, and process documentation.
• Engage with business users, information technology teams, and implementation partners to facilitate discussions.
• Manage configuration dialogues, perform functional validations, oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and secure business approvals.
• Monitor project milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and outstanding issues.
• Assist with Go-Live preparation and manage support for post-Go-Live stabilization phase.
• Keep implementation trackers updated and generate status reports for management review.

Required Skills

• Practical knowledge of ERP systems like ERPNext, Microsoft Dynamics, or SAP.
• Excellent skills in project coordination, analytical thinking, and documentation.
• Comprehension of retail business processes.
• Effective stakeholder engagement and vendor management capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience participating in ERP implementation projects.
• Understanding of finance, inventory control, procurement, and manufacturing modules within ERP systems.
• Exposure to enterprise-level application implementations.
