Equipment Technician

Job Overview

The role involves managing and maintaining key SMT manufacturing machines including SPI, Fuji, GKG Printers, Reflow ovens, and AOI systems to ensure seamless production.

Key Duties

• Carry out maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of SMT machinery.
• Execute installation, alignment, and startup procedures for production lines.
• Program FUJI Mounters and optimize cycle time to enhance efficiency.
• Investigate and resolve equipment breakdowns and perform repairs.
• Monitor machine usage and manage spare parts inventory effectively.
• Support new product introductions, conduct process capability studies (CPK), GRR analysis, and oversee machine installations.
• Ensure product quality adheres strictly to company standards at all production stations.
• Collaborate to refine material flow processes to boost throughput and productivity as needed.
• Coordinate with engineering and supervisory staff to maintain schedules that achieve 100% on-time delivery.
• Work daily with line managers and teams to enhance quality aiming for zero defects.
• Promote a safe, clean, and well-organized work environment through training and guidance.
• Maintain equipment and tool readiness and availability for production demands.

Educational and Experience Requirements

• Diploma in a relevant technical field.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in Surface Mount Technology (SMT).
