About the Role
Qatar Racing & Equestrian Club's Veterinary Hospital is recruiting enthusiastic and skilled Equine Veterinary Assistant Nurses to support its veterinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support veterinarians in the care and treatment of horses.
- Assist in hospitalizing horses, preparing for surgical procedures, and monitoring post-operative recovery.
- Administer medications and provide wound care.
- Ensure precise and up-to-date clinical documentation.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience working with horses or equine patients in a veterinary or clinical setting.
- Sound understanding of equine handling, nursing care, and fundamental veterinary procedures.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a veterinary healthcare team.
- Excellent communication abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and emergency or overnight periods.
- Applicants must currently reside in Qatar; this vacancy is exclusively for local candidates.
