Position Overview
Join Mercy as an Environmental Services Technician, responsible for various cleaning and sanitation activities within the healthcare environment to meet infection control protocols and regulatory standards. Minimum Qualifications
- No formal education or prior work experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in hospital environmental services or similar roles.
- Ability to follow written and spoken directions accurately.
- Background in manual labor tasks and interacting with the public, emphasizing customer service.
Physical Demands
- Capable of regularly lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds.
- Must stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
- Requires frequent gripping, reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting to complete tasks.
