Role Overview
Reporting directly to the Director of ETD Customer and Financial Management, the ETD Finance Manager provides crucial financial leadership and trusted guidance to enable informed decisions across the Division. This position demands excellent stakeholder engagement, the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable advice, and proficiency in managing budgets, forecasts, and competing priorities within a dynamic environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance for ETD cost centers, accounts, and IT projects.
- Generate and deliver timely, precise financial reports and analytical insights to facilitate decision-making.
- Offer strategic and operational counsel on the Division’s financial status, projections, performance metrics, and risks.
- Track and report contractor expenditures, funding origins, and budget utilization.
- Coordinate month-end financial operations, including reconciliations and required reporting.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, providing financial advice to support sound budget management.
- Support financial governance, regulatory compliance, and ongoing initiatives for improvement.
