This role requires managing complex sales cycles from initial engagement through to deal closure, collaborating closely with product and technology teams to customize profitable payment solutions aligned with client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a prioritized sales pipeline featuring Australia's leading enterprise merchants, focusing on customer requirements, payment intricacies, and the commercial viability of opportunities.
- Engage senior-level stakeholders in discovery discussions to comprehend payment processes, business challenges, and procurement priorities.
- Navigate complex, multi-party sales negotiations from first contact to contract finalization.
- Collaborate with internal product and technical teams to design and present tailored integration solutions, utilizing workshops and detailed proposals.
- Consistently achieve and surpass new revenue goals while contributing to Zenith's strategic ambitions within the enterprise market.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated success in initiating and closing sophisticated enterprise sales within payments or fintech sectors, with a clear record of personal impact.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills fostering trust with both commercial and technical decision makers.
- In-depth knowledge of the Australian payments ecosystem, including familiarity with APIs and software integrations for credible technical discussions.
- Self-motivated and proactive in prospecting, opening new accounts, and advancing opportunities independently.
- Effective communication skills grounded in thorough discovery, emphasizing listening, customer value illustration, and confidence building in proposed solutions.
- Resilience and flexibility to adapt strategies in prolonged sales cycles as circumstances evolve.
- Receptive to coaching, quick learning aptitude, collaborative spirit, and readiness to share successes.
- Strong accountability, commercial insight, and consistent pipeline management.
- Experience in education or travel sectors is beneficial but not required; a curious mindset and ability to learn new verticals are valued.
Employee Benefits and Culture
- Competitive salary package combining a base wage with monthly performance-based commissions.
- Supportive and values-driven work environment recognizing high performance and fostering career growth.
- Additional 5 Odd Job Days annually after 12 months of service for personal tasks and events beyond standard annual leave.
- Generous paid parental leave provisions.
- Regular recognition through Zenith Awards and a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- Office based in Mascot offering flexible work-from-home options and occasional travel as required.
